The adaptor comes in a zipped-up case and plugged into our 2025 Ioniq 5's socket without an issue. The car immediately went into V2L mode. I then plugged a lamp into it and it worked as expected. The only hitch was that I could not release the adaptor from the car's socket, and of course the car refused to be anything other than a battery power source as long as the adaptor was connected. Fortunately, there's a mechanical plug clamp release accessible from inside the car on the other side of the socket, so in the end, it's all good.

Take my money! My Acura ZDX could really use this.

We had a power outage here today, I'm guessing the high winds caused a tree fall across the power lines. Usually I use my generator to power the house but today I used my new Hyundai Ionic 9 + the V2l Adapter. Worked like a charm. So much easier and quieter than using the germinator.

I have a 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Limited with A NACS charging port. I just had an Autel charger installed in my garage with the 25’ NACS cable which is great for garage parking or if i back in the driveway.

My wife doesn’t like backing in, and this extension makes just pulling in an easy reach.

In the description of this cable it says it’s compatible with various Tesla models, but it works just fine with the IONIQ 5, no derating at all. This is a Canadian company and the cable is CE rated which is the equivalent of UL rating in the US.

The female end has a lock to prevent accidentally unplugging during charging,
