A2Z EV - TERMS OF SERVICE
OVERVIEW
This website is operated by A2Z Canada Inc. (dba A2Z EV). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to A2Z EV. A2Z EV offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.
SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS & SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and possess the technical proficiency to safely operate high-voltage Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). You acknowledge that improper use of EV adapters, extensions, or chargers can result in fire, property damage, or death. A breach of these Terms will result in an immediate termination of Services and support.
SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS & PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Our products contain proprietary engineering and safety interlocks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or reverse engineer any portion of the hardware or service without express written permission by us.
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, THE "OEM LAG," AND THIRD-PARTY UPDATES
We are not responsible if information on this site is not current. EV technology moves faster than documentation. The "OEM Lag" Principle: Vehicle manufacturers (Tesla, Ford, Rivian, etc.) frequently change charging protocols via over-the-air (OTA) updates. Compatibility info is a "best effort" based on current data; any reliance on this material is at your own risk.
SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, or discontinuance of the Service.
SECTION 5 - PRODUCTS: "FITNESS FOR PURPOSE" & REGIONAL LIMITS
Certain products may be available exclusively online. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person or jurisdiction. All descriptions are subject to change without notice. We do not warrant that product performance (such as kW throughput) will meet your expectations, as charging speeds are governed by the vehicle's OBC and the station's power state.
SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. This includes orders that, in our judgment, appear to be placed by unauthorized dealers, resellers, drop-shippers, or direct competitors.
SECTION 7 - OPTIONAL THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools (e.g., Tesla app, PlugShare) over which we neither monitor nor have any input. We provide access ”as is” without warranties. We have no liability whatsoever arising from your use of optional third-party tools.
SECTION 8 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS & INFRASTRUCTURE
Third-party links on this site may direct you to websites not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining the uptime or safety of third-party charging networks (e.g., Electrify America). Complaints regarding a "failed charge" at a third-party station must be directed to that specific hardware provider.
SECTION 9 - USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS
If you send us submissions (contest entries, creative ideas, suggestions), you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation. We may monitor and remove content we deem unlawful or offensive.
SECTION 10 - PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 11 - ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, info on our site contains typographical errors relating to product descriptions, pricing, or shipping. We reserve the right to correct these and cancel orders if information is inaccurate, even after you have submitted your order.
SECTION 12 - PROHIBITED USES & CORPORATE COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE
In addition to standard prohibitions, users are strictly prohibited from purchasing A2Z EV products for technical evaluation, benchmarking, or reverse engineering.
SECTION 12.1 - RIGHT TO INTERCEPT: A2Z EV reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order—even after shipment—if we determine the order was placed by a direct competitor. A2Z EV may initiate a Carrier Intercept to return goods to our facility and will issue a refund, less intercept and shipping fees.
SECTION 13 - REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & THE "AHJ" DEFENSE
13.1 Local Code Interpretation: Standards like NEC Article 625 (USA) and CEC (Canada) are subject to regional interpretation by local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). A2Z EV does not warrant that any accessory is "code-compliant" for every specific installation.
13.2 Portable vs. Permanent: Our extension cords and adapters are designed for portable and occasional use only. Use in permanent installations is done solely at the User's legal and financial risk.
13.3 Standards Evolution: User acknowledges that for certain innovative categories (like J1772 extensions), a "Whole-Product" UL listing category may not yet exist. The use of UL-certified raw materials signifies our commitment to safety; the lack of a finished-product mark is a result of industry lag, not a design defect.
SECTION 14 - OEM SOFTWARE & HARDWARE INTEROPERABILITY
A2Z EV is not liable for "Handshake Failures" or the disabling of an accessory caused by vehicle manufacturer (OEM) software updates. We are not liable for damage caused by worn-out third-party infrastructure (e.g., melted Supercharger pins or loose home outlets).
SECTION 15 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
15.1 "As-Is" Status: Except as expressly stated, products are provided 'as is' and 'as available.'
15.2 Allocation of Risk: The entire risk of quality and performance is with the User. A2Z EV is not responsible for any consequential damages, including loss of life or vehicle repairs.
15.3 Liquidated Damages: Because the price of the product is disproportionately small compared to potential damage, the User agrees that A2Z EV’s total maximum liability for any claim shall be limited to the actual purchase price of the product.
15.4 Warranty & Insurance: A2Z EV is not responsible if our products void your vehicle warranty or lead to a denial of property insurance claims.
SECTION 16 - INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A2Z EV from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party (including Tesla, Ford, or your HOA) due to your breach of these Terms or your violation of any regional law.
SECTION 17 - SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms.
SECTION 18 - TERMINATION
These Terms are effective until terminated by either you or us. Obligations regarding Section 12 (Prohibited Uses) and Section 15 (Liability) survive the termination of this agreement indefinitely.
SECTION 19 - GOVERNING LAW & MANDATORY JURISDICTION
These Terms and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Any legal action must be filed exclusively in the Courts of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

- Promotional Codes cannot be applied to previously placed orders.
- To apply a promotional code, you must use it prior completing the order.
- Percentage-off codes may not be combined with other percentage-off codes.
- Not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit.
- A2Z EV reserves the right to modify or cancel offers at any time.
